Join us for LP Office Hours, an opportunity for candid conversations around how LPs and GPs can build stronger relationships.
RSVP above and tell us about yourself - you don't have to be a VC expert or have prior VC experience to attend!
A select number of attendees will be offered 30 minute 1:1 “office hours” meetings with leading LPs and GPs.
What is LP Office Hours (LPOH)?
Launched in 2018, LPOH is an in-person education program for professionals of diverse backgrounds to receive advice from and connect with LPs and other GPs, with the goal of learning from LPs about the fundraising process, GP-LP relationship management, and other guidance for success as a VC from the LP’s perspective, in an open and collaborative environment and safe space for questions. We held LPOH in July 2018 in Palo Alto and in November 2018 in Boston.
50 women and minority VCs have attended the LPOH, where 20 LPs and 10 experienced GPs hosted office hours.
Who should attend?
The target audience is women, minorities, immigrants, or other diverse individuals who want to learn. You don't have to be a VC expert or have raised a VC fund to attend. Come with questions to ask experienced LPs and GPs!
Note: this event is NOT a place to pitch LPs!
Will there be other opportunities to attend LPOH?
June 6th is our third event, and space is limited. The LPOH series will continue in other locations.
I'm an experienced GP or LP interested in holding office hours - how can I get involved?
Great! We'd love for you to be involved. Email Maryam Haque at mhaque@nvca.org for more details.
